I've decided to just ignore every random "sexy" scene AD puts in these adaptations. Hopefully someday he will figure out how pointless they are...I'm quite willing to watch something that has no sex in it, thank you very much. ;)

I'm quite enjoying it, though! I think the entire cast has been wonderful so far, not to mention Dan Stevens and Dominic Cooper are both lovely to look at. :)

Haha, nice picspam! I just saw this, and I approve so far. However, the age difference between Marianne and Brandon are a little too obvious (andcreepy). With Alan Rickman and Kate Winslet ... still same age difference but Kate just looked older and Alan was too hot to be that old. :P All I can think of when I see this Brandon is crazystalkerguy from Our Mutual Friend. And this Marianne really looks sixteen. :l

And you know, the beginning scene with the sex and all that was pretty crazy. (I thought I was watching the wrong show.)

Well, the age difference between Marianne and Brandon doesn't bother me so much anymore. Emma and Knightley are just as far apart yet most people don't remark on it. I guess Marianne being only 17 is what makes it kind of weird. But I agree about Alan Rickman - he can stalk me anytime. ;)

I watched it with my sister and my boyfriend who have never read any Jane Austen before, but had seen the BBC Pride and Prejudice adaptation. So when this started, they were like "OMG, shagging in a Jane Austen story?" then throughout the whole thing they just kept going "Who's the shagger? Was it him? Oh wait, was it him?" XD

That fat kid was creepy! XD

Margaret was cute. The same actress was in a TV adaptation of Ballet Shoes last year being equally adorable and even more brattish.
